Naval Aviation Museum Foundation received a charitable contribution of $50K from donors Valerie and Larry Post to make Naval Aviation Museum's operation and development better.
Pensacola, FL (Merxwire) - The Naval Aviation Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that donors Valerie and Larry Post donated $50K to support the National Naval Aviation Museum. Valerie is the Co-Owner of Engel & Vlkers/ Meridian Realty Group and The Point Restaurant and Bar. Larry is a former Naval Aviator and serves as CEO of Post Hospitality Group (PHG). They care about social welfare and are keen on charity actions.
Larry and his wife, Valerie, participate in a number of non-profit boards, including the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. Everyone needs to care about our society and history. History is the mirror of humanity, and it is also a way for humanity to miss their ancestors. Through the exhibition in museums, the public can have a more concrete image of history.
"Support from the Post family makes it possible for the Museum to expand its teachings of Naval Aviation history," said retired Marine Lt. Gen. Duane Thiessen, president of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. "This gift helps tell the story of our past and provides a pathway to our future by bringing the accomplishments of Naval Aviators to life, inspiring the next generation."
