Super Bowl champion quarterback Russell Wilson is joining the 'NFL Today' studio crew on CBS, Front Office Sports reported Monday.
The 10-time Pro Bowl selection replaces Matt Ryan, who left after three seasons to become president of football for the Atlanta Falcons.
Spokespersons for CBS and Wilson did not respond to requests for comment on the report.
Wilson, 37, started the first three games last season for the New York Giants before being replaced by rookie Jaxson Dart.
After a decorated decade with the Seattle Seahawks to begin his career, Wilson spent two seasons in Denver and one each with Pittsburgh and New York.
Wilson was 104-53-1 as the starter with the Seahawks, including a 43-8 victory against the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII after the 2013 season.
Wilson completed 64.6% of his passes for 46,966 yards, 353 touchdowns and 114 interceptions in 205 games (202 starts) with the Seahawks (2012-21), Broncos (2022-23), Steelers (2024) and Giants (2025). He ranks 12th all-time in TD passes and 16th in passing yards. He was named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year in 2020.
