Blades Brown has accepted a special temporary membership on the PGA Tour and is eligible to receive unlimited sponsor exemptions for the remainder of the season through the FedExCup Fall standings.
Non-members are limited to seven exemptions.
Brown, 19, benefited from a tie for 14th place at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson last month. The Nashville native has 266 non-member FedExCup points -- which would place him between 88th and 89th in the standings -- and also is No. 11 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list.
Brown can secure his PGA Tour card for the 2027 season either by earning as many non-member points as No. 70 in the final 2026 FedExCup Fall standings or by finishing in the top 20 on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Brown finished third at the PGA Tour's Puerto Rico Open earlier this year.
His first PGA Tour event as a pro was in January 2025 at The American Express when he was 17.
